We’re in the business of saving lives
We are Paramedical First Aid Training Limited, a team of paramedics, providing front line emergency care in the Derby and Chesterfield area. Collectively, we have over 50 years experience.
With training rooms across Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire & South Yorkshire, we are also available to deliver training at your premises nationwide, specialising in onsite training reducing the cost of training and travel for your delegates.
We have worked in many areas over the years in Derbyshire including Buxton, Bakewell, Matlock, Chesterfield, Ripley and Derby. We have also worked across Nottinghamshire, including Nottingham, Mansfield, Worksop, Retford and Newark. This has given us vast experience in a range of environments, including city work, remote rural work, and motorway trauma.
We are keen to draw upon our knowledge and experience to deliver a dynamic learning experience, adding a new dimension to first aid training by combining theory and demonstrations with real life examples.
We do onsite courses starting with 3 learners (a small surcharge for only 2 learners will apply).
Every year, millions of accidents and injuries happen. We make it our mission to ensure all of our delegates complete the course with the confidence to deal with a medical emergency, should one ever arise. Learn first aid, help save lives.

As a practising GP or Dentist you must demonstrate appropriate continuing professional development (CPD), to keep up to date for each part of your scope of practice. We provide a wide range of high quality courses and events to support your continuing professional development. Choose either a 2 or 3 hour session which allows clinicians earn required CPD hours and to keep up to date with the latest evidence and new guidelines. All our sessions are delivered by serving NHS Paramedics, so sessions can cover topics of your choice, or our standard BLS session which covers Safe Use of the AED, and Anaphylaxis. Sessions can also be tailored for practice support staff. Please email or call us for more details and to discuss your needs. Depending on the size of your group and the space available will determine if we need one or two instructors. We are happy to tailor your course to your requirements. Certificates are issued by Paramedical First Aid Training and are valid for 1 year with appropriate CPD hours on the certificate.

It is very important that everyone involved with horses knows how to administer First Aid. This includes riders, instructors, competitors, volunteers, fence judges and grooms. Every professional must have a recognised First Aid qualification to enable inclusion on the register of instructors. Ideal for groups, the British Horse Society (BHS), requires you to complete a First Aid at Work (FAW) 3 day course, which focuses on injuries sustained whilst handling and riding horses.
