This course is suitable for people aged 18+ who may be required to use airway adjuncts and suction equipment safely and effectively when attending to a casualty. Designed for qualified first aiders and emergency first aiders, this 1-2 hour course can be combined with a Basic Life Support(BLS) and Automated External Defibrillator(AED) qualification to make a full 1 day course.

What you will learn?

• Equipment used i.e. OPA
• Importance of airway adjuncts.
• When and how to use airway adjuncts, including contraindications.
• Reporting and recording use.

1-2  hours teaching (dependant on group size)

Certification

Upon completion of the course we will issue you with a certificate from Paramedical First Aid Training.
