Chris Towndrow
I’m Chris Towndrow and have been practising as a Paramedic since 2009. I’ve previously worked in the banking and transport sectors.
I attended Sheffield Hallam University and completed a course in mentoring and facilitating, approved by the National midwifery Council, as well as a course in work based learning.
My aim is to now train as many people to become competent first aiders as possible, passing on my knowledge and experience to help all our students be more confident in helping others and saving lives.

Craig Bell
Craig has over 7 years experience of emergency services work progressing from Community First Responder to Specialist Paramedic gaining an FdSc in Paramedic Science from Coventry University in 2018. I continue to work front line as a Specialist Paramedic alongside studying for a Masters degree in Advanced Clinical Practice at the University of Sheffield.
Prior to joining the ambulance service I completed a BSc in Biomedical Science at the University of Sheffield and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education at the University of Nottingham. Following this I worked as a secondary school teacher for 6 years in several different roles.
I’m now keen to combine my teaching and clinical experience to support people in developing confidence in first aid.

Tony Horan
Prior to gaining my Paramedic qualification in 2004, I gained a BSc (Hons) in Sport Studies at Wolverhampton University. I have 21 years emergency service experience, gaining excellent practical knowledge of incidents.
I bring a wealth of operational knowledge and “hands-on” experience into the delivery of first aid training.
I aim to bring a real life dimension to delegates’ first aid training by providing reliable, flexible and interactive training that gives you, the first aider, the confidence to use your skills in real life emergencies.
