Standard Terms and conditions For Paramedical First Aid Training Limited

Courses

For group bookings we require the number of learners attending one week prior to the course date so Paramedical First aid training can provide the correct equipment and paperwork for the day.

Non attendees attract a 50% charge due to costs incurred.

Due to Covid-19 rules and self-isolation we reserve the right to postpone courses if trainers have to self-isolate. Every effort will be made to replace the trainer but if staffing levels mean we are unable to do this then we will ensure the course is rearranged as quickly as possible.  

Identification is essential for all learners without exception.

Courses for group bookings for regulated courses are invoiced according to places booked.

For ONSITE group bookings no deposit is required.

For OFFSITE where Paramedical First Aid Training pre book a training room then a 30% deposit is required before the course can be confirmed. Deposit is non-refundable.

Payment can be up front for the full course, however, if payment is made after the course has finished Paramedical First Aid training will keep all certification and documentation until the invoice is paid in full.

For Bespoke courses (not Student First Aid) both onsite and offsite then a deposit of 50% is required.

Certificates of attendance will be given on the day of the training however full payment must be given to the course leader.

Student First aid Courses will be invoiced after the course has taken place.

Certificates will be issued on the day of the course.

Trust will be put upon the person booking the course that payment will be made within 30 days of the course being completed.

An admin charge of £25 +VAT will be charged for any invoices not settled within 45 days of the course being completed.

ALL Paramedical First Aid Training Limited policies and procedures are available to all training customers and each trainer carries an electronic copy with them to all courses.

We retain the right to cancel pre booked courses.

Courses can be cancelled and rearranged by either Paramedical First Aid Training Limited or the customer due to dangerous weather conditions.

If Paramedical First Aid Training Limited have to cancel a course due to staff sickness then Paramedical First Aid Training Limited will rearrange the course at a mutually agreed date for both Paramedical First Aid Training Limited and the customer and the course will be run at reduced rates by way of apology for any costs incurred and by doing this negate Paramedical First Aid Training from any other forms of costs.

Groups of 2-5 we will reduce the invoice by 30% before VAT
Groups of 6-12 we will reduce the invoice by 40% before VAT
Groups of 13 or above we will reduce the invoice by 50% before VAT

We offer a free reminder service and by booking with Paramedical First Aid Training Limited you authorise us to be able to contact you and your learners to remind of when refreshers or requalification’s are due.

We may also from time to time contact learners who have passed through our centre with information that Paramedical First Aid Training Limited deem to be a major change within the training that was given ensuring learners always have the most up to date information available to enable them to forfil their role effectively.

Contract rates are available upon request. These are reviewed annually and depend on an agreed numbers of learners being trained by Paramedical First Aid Training Limited.

Email Newsletter

If you sign up to our newsletter we may use your email address to send you information about products or services.

You can opt out of these at any point and you can ask for personal data to stop being recorded at any time.

Disclosure of Personal Data

We may disclose your personal data:

  • To other companies within our group.
  • If we sell our business.

We are primarily a Training Company regulated by the Association of First Aiders (AOFAQ).

Contract Execution

Your personal data will be used to provide the information, goods and services offered through our website to you, for billing and order fulfilment. Your data will not be given to any other organisation other than those.

Products we Sell in our Online Shop

Products we sell are described as accurately as we can. All information is gained from our supplier and we Paramedical First Aid Training Limited always try and maintain good communications with our suppliers so we can maintain accuracy within the product description.

We hold no stock at our premises and all stock ordered by you the customer is shipped direct from our suppliers.

Right to Cancel

All customers have the right to cancel their orders under the The Distance Selling Regulations which gives consumers extra protection when buying online. Specific legislation here that applies is regulation of The Distance Selling Regulations.

You have the right to cancel the purchase of a good without having to give a reason at any time within the “cooling off period” of seven working days, beginning on the day after you receive the goods.
If you are in possession of the goods you are under the duty to retain them and take reasonable care of them. You must send the goods back to us to our contact address at your own cost (unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is damaged or defective) as soon as possible once you have canceled the contract. Photographic evidence is required for any damaged packaging prior to you the customer opening the packaging. We will endeavor to sort out any damage done by delivery services however will not be held responsible for any damage incurred but will liaise with the delivery company to resolve any issues but this may incur additional time.

We reserve the right to make a charge not exceeding our direct costs of recovering the goods if you do not return the goods or return them at our expense.

Once you have notified us that you wish to cancel the contract, any sum debited to us will be refunded to you as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your cancellation.

You will not have any right to cancel a purchase for the supply of any of the following goods:
For the supply of good made to your specifications or clearly personalised or which by reason of their nature cannot be returned or are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.

Notices

All notices you send us must be sent to the contact details on this site paramedicalfirstaidtraining.co.uk or direct email training@paramedicalfirstaidtraining.co.uk we may give notice to you at either the email or postal address you provide to us when making a purchase. (Notice will be deemed received and properly served 24 hours after an email is sent or three days after the date of posting of any letter). In providing the service of any notice, it will be sufficient to prove, in the case of a letter, that the letter was properly addressed, stamped and placed in the post and, in the case of an email that the email was sent to the specified email address of the addressees.

Price

Prices are subject to VAT at standard rate and are exclusive of any postage/carriage charges
The Seller reserves the right to vary its prices without notice to the Buyer.

We will Price Match on any AED units or accessories, identical, new products being sold by another supplier at the same time. We will endeavor to price match on any other products being sold via our web site. Applies to UK mainland deliveries only. We may ask for proof of your quoted price. We reserve the right to withdraw our Price Match at any time without written notification. Quotes have to be evidenced in writing and Paramedical First Aid training must be able to verify the quote as bogus quotes will NOT be honored.

While we do our best to make sure prices are up to date and correct, sometimes errors may occur, in which case you will be contacted before your order is processed. In the event of an error in any pricing or description on the website, we reserve the right to cancel any orders placed for those particular items.

Payment

We accept secure payments from all major Credit and Debit Cards through PayPal. We also accept cheques and direct bank transfer, all of which will be an option on completing the checkout process.

While we do our best to ensure prices are up to date and correct, errors may occur, in which case you will be contacted before your order is processed. In the event of an error in any pricing or description on the website, we reserve the right to cancel any orders placed for those particular items.

Items are ordered from our suppliers as soon as payment is received and cleared in full.

We do not offer credit terms as a company however we will consider all requests.

Delivery

Postage is set within the completion of the checkout procedure.

Carriage is subject to VAT at standard rate.

Paramedical First Aid Training will order your items you purchase once all funds are received and cleared. We aim to deliver to UK mainland addresses in a timely fashion however we do not accept liability for any delay in carriage that is out of our control as a company. Some items especially AED sales and accessories can take up to 21 days to arrive however we liaise with the supplier to get goods to you much quicker.

We do not ship outside the UK

Promotions

Promotional codes are given to individuals companies existing customers or are general promotions.

They are intended to be used upon entering the checkout process within the online shop.

Each promotional code is subjected to terms and conditions and may be item or time specific.
We reserve the right to cancel promotional codes at any point

If we suspect any misuse of promotional codes then we may refer this to the police fraud office.

Any promotions offered are at the total discretion of Paramedical First Aid Training Limited.

Warranties

Any warranties offered are direct with the manufacturer and all claims will be directed at them however we are happy to act as an intermediary to resolve any issues.

Returns Policy

Paramedical First Aid Supplies offer a 7 day returns policy. Providing all items are not used, still in their original packaging and not damaged, we will be happy to offer an exchange or refund.

In line with the The Distance Selling Regulations unless the item is not as described all returns carriage costs will be at the buyers’ expense.

Exchanges or refunds are given once the item is received by Paramedical First Aid supplies and all items are confirmed as being intact and present.

Changes to these Terms and Conditions

Paramedical First Aid Training Limited will try to give a minimum of 28 days’ notice to changes to any of these terms and conditions.

Conclusion

These terms are governed by English law. Any contract for the purchase of goods from this site and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with any such contract will be governed by English law. You and we both agree that the courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction. However, if you are a resident in Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and if you are a resident in Scotland you may also bring proceedings in Scotland.
