This annual refresher course provides an opportunity for staff that have previously attended an Emergency First Aid at Work or First Aid at Work course, to refresh their knowledge and skills during the 3 year qualification period. This course covers both adult and paediatric First Aid.
On site special course rates for groups of 10 – 12 people.
We do cover certain subjects listed below but as all courses contain other subjects then these subjects are not always the ones that need refreshing on so please speak to us prior to discuss other subjects that need refreshing.
Standard Subjects are
- How to manage an incident.
- How to recognise and determine life threatening conditions.
- Treating an unconscious casualty.
- Performing CPR on an adult.
- Choking
Course Duration
3 hours teaching.
Certification
Upon completion of the course we will issue you with a certificate from Paramedical.
Refresher Training Advice
The Health and Safety Executive and Association of First Aiders strongly recommend that first-aiders undertake annual refresher training during any three-year certification period. Although not mandatory, this will help qualified first-aiders maintain their basic skills, and keep up to date with any changes to first-aid procedures.
